Welcome to Munster High School - Home of the Mustangs!

Munster High School, established in 1964, has a long and storied history of being the premier high school in Northwest Indiana and a top high school in Indiana.  All students at Munster High School learn in a supportive and rigorous academic environment. We strive to ensure all students find success, regardless if they plan to attend college, enter the workforce, or enlist in the military.

Along with a thriving academic environment, Munster High School provides students with a wide range of competitive and noncompetitive extracurricular opportunities. These groups allow students to explore beyond the classroom and engage with the community. We encourage parents and community members to join us at a ball game or for a night in our Auditorium with one of our performing arts groups. 

We strive to provide a high-quality education for our students as well as unifying community activities.
